Let’s make growth happen
Executive coaching and counselling specialist
About me
Hi, I’m Silja Turville - a BACP-registered counsellor and executive coach. I support people navigating trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety, depression, and the challenges life can bring. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent-affirming, with a focus on helping you grow in ways that feel sustainable and true to you.
Before becoming a counsellor, I founded four businesses and worked in finance, so I understand first-hand the pressures of the workplace and how easily burnout and overwhelm can take hold.
Alongside counselling, I also work as an executive coach, supporting founders, leaders and professionals at every stage of their career to take meaningful steps forward while staying connected to who they are and what they need to thrive.
What I offer
-
Executive coaching
If you’re looking to grow your business, progress in your career, or achieve your goals without burning out along the way, I can support you.
My coaching takes a holistic approach, focusing on sustainable personal and professional growth. Together, we’ll explore not only practical steps forward but also any psychological blocks that may be holding you back, so you can move towards your goals while protecting your wellbeing.
-
Counselling
I offer counselling in a way that feels right for you, creating space to explore both the big and small challenges you may be facing. My aim is to support you in feeling encouraged and to help you build greater self-compassion as we work together.
I specialise in trauma, anxiety, depression, and attachment difficulties, and I practice in a neurodivergent-affirming way.

“There is no timestamp….Be patient. Take up space. Let your journey be the balm.”
Your questions, answered

Coaching is future-focused, helping you set goals, achieve specific targets, and develop new skills.
Counselling is centred on emotional healing and mental wellbeing, exploring current challenges as well as past experiences that may still affect you today.
Because I am trained in both coaching and counselling, I can integrate these approaches where helpful. In coaching sessions, this means I can also support you in understanding why certain challenges feel so difficult and bring a focus on wellbeing into conversations about your future.
-
I have trained in several major schools of therapy so I can draw on the approaches that best support each client. My training includes cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and person-centred therapy.

Counselling sessions start from £60 for 50 minutes, plus any room charges.
Executive coaching sessions for self-paying clients start from £150 for 50 minutes. Corporate rates are available on request.
-
In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to coaching or counselling, what your goals are, and how you will know if our work together has been helpful. We’ll also look at any challenges or barriers you’ve faced and discuss how we might work together going forward.
I also offer a free initial consultation, which is an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what you’re hoping to gain from coaching or counselling.
-
The length of our work together depends on your goals. Executive coaching is usually for a set number of sessions, tailored to the specific outcomes you want to achieve.
Counselling often works best longer term, especially when healing from trauma or attachment difficulties, which can take a year or more. At the same time, shorter-term counselling (around 10–12 sessions) can also be helpful if you’re looking for support to stabilise after a particularly challenging time.
