Welcome
I am a BACP registered counsellor and ICF accredited coach helping clients seeking to make positive changes in their lives.
I am experienced in working with anxiety, depression, burnout, stress and overwhelm, as well as attachment difficulties, bereavement and trauma.
I also specialise in working with neurodivergent clients, parents and carers of children or adults with additional support needs as well as clients working on their attachment patterns, coping with bereavement, anxiety, burnout, overwhelm, depression or trauma.
For neurodivergent clients, my work often involves helping clients to fully understand their emotional, executive function and sensory regulation systems so that clients can feel affirmed and understood. This may also involve consideration of the external environment clients are living in so that this works better for the client.
For parents and carers of adults and children with additional support needs, life can be extremely demanding with many areas that are outside of their control. Typical self-care guidance can feel unachievable and the extent of the executive function, demands on time and trauma through dealing with the educational and other support systems on their child’s behalf can take a great toll on parents and carers.
I am experienced in working with anxiety, depression, burnout and overwhelm, as well as attachment difficulties, bereavement and trauma.
My approach is to create a space for us to work together in acceptance and compassion so that difficulties can be worked through at your pace.
Many of my clients work with me on a long term basis although shorter term work is also available.
I work online and in person in Fulham and Wimbledon.

How counselling works
Counselling works by offering a space to talk with a supportive and empathetic therapist to allow you to sort through and make sense of what you feel, what has happened to you and, with this awareness, in time, it can help you to feel empowered and explore new ways of doing things.
Rather than seeing mental health as an “in person” issue, we now see mental health as being connected to what has happened to us and what supports have been available to us especially in our earlier years.
A key element in the success of counselling is that the client experiences the counselling relationship as supportive and helpful, feeling that they are able to say everything they need to say, and are heard, and also able to share about how they are experiencing counselling and the counselling relationship too.
I offer a free initial 15 minute chat online for you to find our more about how we could work together and to share about your goals for counselling.
If you would like, we can then arrange an initial session to start working together. We can work together for a short period or a longer period of time depending upon what you are looking to achieve.
Sessions would usually be weekly at the same time and sessions last 50 minutes. I am offering online sessions and payment is required in advance of the session.
